This moment had so much significance for me. I went back and rewatched this scene (it’s from when Rory sings “Home”). Brittana and Tike both have cute moments where they look at each other, but it’s pretty clear that the moment shared between Finn and Rachel is deeper. (At least that’s the way I took it). Rory sings “Let me go home” with tears in his eyes, probably one of the most emotional parts of the song (in terms of how he is conveying the emotions of the song with his voice), and right after this, we see Finn and Rachel, Rachel lying against Finn, and Finn with his arm around her. It looks like Rory singing that line from the song really affected Finn, and we see him look down at Rachel’s hand and take it in his own. I cannot get over this moment. I cannot get over how this (SO BEAUTIFULLY) showed how Finn and Rachel have found home with each other, and how Finn did not feel complete in this scene until he was holding Rachel’s hand. It was really clear that Finn felt that something was missing, and even when he was sitting as close to Rachel as he could have been, he did not feel right until her hand was in his.
